Based in Tokyo, MEGA X is a megasonic pop band whose sound draws influence from US indie/lo-fi punk spanning the 90s to the present day, delivering powerful yet bittersweet harmonies from both female and male vocals. Guitar/vocals, bass/vocals, guitar, drums. Packed with the band members’ favorite elements, this tactile album features performances infused with influences from Weezer, The Muffs, Mates of State, Wavves, Best Coast, Fastbacks, Sheer Mag, and Superchunk.
