“This relatively new Catalan band debuted with an online-only demo on April ’23 with 4 tracks and inmediately catched our attention. Then they released another track on March ’24 and another 4 track, online-only, demo on their bandcamp on April ’24, following the steps of their previous outputs. So now we are presenting their vinyl debut with those 9 tracks on a 12”. Musically, think of a mix between the sound of some bands affiliated to the “Revolution Summer” / Dischord Records emotive hardcorepunk (like RITES OF SPRING, EMBRACE or DAG NASTY) mixed with Oi!Punk like the early PILSENERS (demo era). Oh, and they cover NEGATIVE APPROACH too with adapted lyrics in Catalan. Lyricwise they cover personal and political issues from an anarchist perspective deeply rooted in the Catalan identity and cultural/national struggle against spanish colonialism. The brilliant raw b/w aesthetics gives a very special, old-school and organic feeling to the whole package. In the true DIY spirit, the band recorded, mixed and mastered themselves the album.
